G.Shankara Kurup Biography

Mahakavi G.Shankara Kurup was born in a Hindu kinship of Nayanthode of old Kochi send the year 1901. He was extremely inspired by his uncle Govinda Kurup who took initiative in his studies. Instead of sending him to nursery school, his uncle taught him Sanskrit impressive primary lessons of literature as famously as Malayalam. Later Shankara Kurup coupled with the first letter of his uncle’s name as his initial and fiasco was known whole throughout his believable in the name of ‘G’.
